How to start with make up
Ok so alot of you women search on the internet how to apply makeup.A lot of you are clueless when it comes to make up and i understand because i was one of them before i discovered youtube and blogspot lol. Make up should be considered art first and foremost. Why? Because it is. A lot of women out there put on foundation and eye shadow or whatever else just because it is said that it will make your face flawless or whatever else you may think it does. Well let me tell you something. No matter what foundation you buy if you don't know how to apply it....It will not work as properly. The list goes on with eye liner, eye shadow yada yada ya.So here are some few tips and tricks that i have learned over the years. Enjoy :)
Face:
First and foremost before you apply any make up you have to cleanse your face and tone it and mouisturize it by buying products depending on your skin type.
1) Foundation
Foundation is a crucial part in our face beauty routine.Buying the right shade of foundation depends on the tone of your face color.Buying the right texture of foundation depends too if you have oily/dry/sensitive/combination skin.
For oily skin you need like a power base foundation which i think goes perfectly for this type of skin.Oily skin tends to get shiny so you need something to mattify it and a powder foundation will do.
For dry skin it is good to use a cream based foundation as you need that kind of texture onto your skin.if you were to use a powder one your skin would become even more ashier and drier then it is lol.
For combination skin. Now this is tricky because some people have issues with this type of skin. They don't know what is the problem with it because in some areas it's dry and on some oily so you are left with a question mark on what type of skin you have.Well the combination skin is oily through the t-zone area which is the forehead, nose and chin. The dry parts are the cheeks and some spot dehydrations. For this kind of skin type i would suggest you use a cream based foundation and powder the t-zone are.
Concealer:
Concealer plays a big part in our life.It can transform us from the dull looking to bright and fresh and awake. The way to apply it it a big part. You put alot and your under eyes will look cakey. You put a little and you will see no difference. The shade should be 2 shades lighter then your foundation.Always dab the concealer under your eyes.DO NOT rub it away.It will not work like that. Something smart i learned from Bobbi Brown was If it's cakey then the ratio of eye cream to concealer is off.If it's too light then use an extremely light dusting of light bronzing powder to warm up the area.If it creases then use a podwer to set it and if it's too bright or too dark try adding a bit of fast absorbing eye cream then repeat the concealer.
Powder:
Powder is used to set the foundation. If you have dry skin i suggest you don't use it.Combination should be used only on the t-zone area.
